Homecoming, 2014

After missing the last two years due to busy schedules and ear tubes, we were excited to make it back this year to our Alma Mater. We actually made it out of the house in record time, which never happens. The guys all golf in the Alumni Tournament Friday, and this year Dave and Shaun went with the "Loudmouth Golf" theme for their outfits. If we plan ahead a little more next year they might even show up all purple and gold.

While the boys played, we hung out with the kids. They had a good day, but the highlight for us girls was getting out that night for dinner and desert all on our own. Yes, it's the little things that matter. But it was so nice to catch up and share stories like we had never left. It will definitely happen again!

Saturday was the football game and family festival. The area where we went for the football game was perfect. A grassy spot where the kids could run and play and not interrupt anyone. Parents could still see the game. A win win for all! Addie and Zoe had a great time cheering on the Kingsmen, while Jackson played catch and kick ball.

Teaching Shaun a hand game.

Tag, you're out!
Rest time before the festival!
After the game we headed over to the festival. They had jumpers, face painting, balloons and art activities. There was a lot of yummy treats too. I also got to see my old roommates and their new little ones. Just wish I had more time! But my kiddos were done, so we headed to dinner and back for the night.

It's so hard to get them together!
