Thanksgiving

It's only fitting that we're almost to Christmas and I'm getting to our Thanksgiving post! We had a great Thanksgiving. My whole side of the family drove out and we all hung out and celebrated together. All of the cousins enjoyed playing. The big boys had a blast going out shooting and going for a jeep ride. The girls enjoyed relaxing and not "having" to do anything! Of course, there's the attempt at a cousin picture with Grandma and Grandpa. We struggled to get everyone in a picture mood at once, so this was as good as it gets!
Working on getting everyone smiling....
As good as it gets!
After the picture, the kids and the adults went out for a jeep ride. It was Parker's first ride. He came back with a huge smile! Addison said Uncle Bubba got lost...lol! I guess he didn't keep up with Dave.
Parker and Jackson ready for the ride!
Addie is not sure how Uncle Bubba will fare!
To keep with our theme of driving and riding in the desert, the kids got out their go cart and everyone took a spin. Parker was a little apprehensive in the beginning, but after some skilled driving by the kids, he enjoyed it. I even showed off my skills riding a bike that's too small! Who knew? Jackson and Addison certainly didn't!
Parker's first ride....it was noisy!
Aunt Tara can drive!
Here I come!!!

Watching and waiting!
Addie and Uncle Bubba
Grandpa and Jackson fixing his tire.
Ready to go run!
Who's it?
Grandma and Addison were able to get some sewing in and finish her blanket that has been "nearly done" for almost a year. She was very excited, and I was too!!!
Grandma and Addison hard at work!
She's not excited, is she?
We read stories together! And that makes bedtime all the more interesting for sure!
Grandma was the supervising surgeon for lots of animals that needed button eyes replaced. She trained her residents in their techniques and both were able to fix a few animals that were in need of some help!
Last but not least, the kids found the belly boards and rode around on those while everyone finished packing up. It was a good weekend, albeit too short. Next time, we will have to squeeze in one more day at least!!!!
Bennett taking a turn.
Parker pausing for a moment.
It all ended with silly faces!!!!!
